Venue & Dates
The 2008 Nacra North American Championships will be held Monday, 25th
through Thursday, August 28th, 2008 and sailed on
Organising Authority
The Organising Authority is the International Nacra Class Association
(INCA)
and Catamaran Racing Association of Michigan,
under the authority of USSAILING.
Rules
The 2008 Nacra North American Championships will be governed by the
2005-2008 International Sailing Federation Racing Rules, the
International Nacra Class Association Rules and this Notice of Race,
except as any of these are altered by the Sailing Instructions.
The English text of this Notice of Race and the Sailing
Instructions will prevail.
Eligibility
.Skipper must be a paid-up member of the International Nacra Class
Association (INCA).
Advertising Category
The 2008 Nacra North American Championships shall rank as a Category C
event in accordance with

Mailed entries shall be made on the Official Entry Form only.

Paper registration is to be returned with the registration fees to:

Fees
Registration fees are refundable until
August 1, 2008 and will be as follows:

The registration fees are payable to Eric Kennedy
by: Travellers Cheque, Bank
Draft, Checks* or US Dollars.
*Check will be accept prior to Aug. 1, 2008
Registration Fees must be included with mailed entry forms and sent to
INCA C/O Eric Kennedy. The method of payment shall be shown on
the entry form. Payments
that have been mailed should be received by
August 1, 2008 (close of mailed entries) and shall include the
official form of entry.

Boats
All Nacra boats must be class legal. All Nacra Formula 18 boats shall
sail under the Nacra F18 rules.
Sails
All sails must be class legal Nacra sails manufactured by a Performance
Sports International, Inc.
Licensee for Nacra.
All boats must adhere to class rules and measurements, are subject to
official verification at anytime.
Fleets
Five Nacras (model) constitute a
Nacra North America Championship Fleet.
Eight Nacras (model) or more will have its own start.
All Nacras (model) less than five boats will be scored as a Portsmouth
Fleet.
Competitor’s Insurance
Each competitor must show proof of Liability Insurance with a minimum
coverage in the amount of $150,000 USD that is valid while sailing in

On Site Registration
The Registration Office will be open as follows:
Registration will also be available on Saturday, Monday 25th at 8:30AM
to 9:30AM
Teams must register on site during the times indicated. Failure to do so
may result in ineligibility to sail in the event.

The sailing instructions will be made available at registration.
Trophies
Awards will be presented
for the 2008 Nacra North America Championships as follows:
The overall winner in each
class shall be declared the 2008 Nacra North America Champion.
A
trophy shall be awarded, one per every five boats pre-registered in the
Championship Fleet.
Nacra Formula 18 Class also shall be awarded trophies for a combined
fleet of I-18, F18 & F18 Infusion.

The Official Hotel is the Bella Vista Inn in Caseville, Mi. Information
